I don't miss that at all, actually. The only thing I miss is the sunshine, but if I want that, Spain is only an hour away...85 degrees and beautiful outside, and we are under a winter storm watch!

Or, you can cruise down Harry Hines for a touch of Mexico, not the same as a weekend in Ibiza. But it's already nice here so you don't have to get away, except in the summer. There is no place an hour from here that offers any kind of relief from that. Exactly why it is important to recognize just how damn nice it is right here right now.mexico is only a couple hours away from here. it's like spain, but a little more smelly and more mexicans.

On a side note, I wasn't so impressed by the weather when I came home to a 90 degree place. I think that bird that's (still) in my chimney is juuuuust about ripe.
Ug.

Wine might be better than tequila, but it sure isn't greater. With wine, you only get wine. With tequila, you get margaritas, the tequila sunrise, drunk white guys singing in sombreros and coeds buried in a backyard in Matamoros. What is greater than that?Yes but wine> tequilla.
