I'm the bossy and structured Capricorn. (We have the dullest horoscopes. It's always something like "Take time to clean out clothes you don't wear anymore." Even if it's supposed to be a metaphor, borrrrrring.)

What's your favorite magazine?

i used to get maximum rock n roll and flipside in my punkier days, also the grand royal magazine the beastie boys put out and cmj occasionally for the discs. nothing much these days, i do enjoy reading under the radar when i'm stateside.

i was amazed at the range of uk magazines available in the us, even retrogamer was available (sadly not issue 1 which i could have imported back and sold for 100 quid a time on ebay...)

what's the best cd coverdisc you've bought / been given?

a cd coverdisc is a free CD that comes with a magazine (usually a compilation). It comes stuck to the cover, so that's where it gets its name from.

Back to eebs' question. What's the best one you've ever listened to?

Don't know about coverdiscs, but I used to get free cassette tapes like that from suburban Chicago record stores in the early 90s. I picked one up because it had the Indigo Girls and Matthew Sweet on it, and discovered new and interesting bands. Like I was supposed to! I think that's how I found out that I liked Ned's Atomic Dustbin.

In Germany, David Hasselhoff is cool, but in the U.S., he's a punchline. Which British celebrity is like that? (e.g., we love them in the U.S., but at home they're laughed at.)

yes, I would be addicted to sex, gourmet foods, house cleaning...alas I'm too lazy to go out and find some tail, drive to the fancy supermarket and cook, and lord knows I'm not really gonna do that much dusting.

night swimming. I don't do it very often, but when I do I think to myself, "man, this is my favorite summertime activity, I really should do it more often."

Lidocaine , well I didn't eat it exactly...but it was used in my mouth...GAH it taste HORRIBLE. It's used to numb your mouth and it's about the nastiest thing I've ever tasted. Not to mention...it "stays" with you....

"Pedantic." I am not sure I used it correctly.

How often do you look something up in a dictionary?
