Oh, Pete, Pete, Pete...

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

I seriously doubt the allegations. If not only because Pete isn't the type to share drugs.

I was joking :D

Musicians who take advantage of their fans should be flogged and fisted.

I read that lil thing bout ole Pete, and after reading that article on him I really don't think that he'd waste a hit on someone. That fucker loves his shit wayyyyyy too much to share on a passed out bimbo (ohhh was it Kate??) in a crap room somewhere.

Just my two cents

Pete's a wanker.

He has a history of doing dumb shit to get attention/because he's fucked. I really hope that girl gets tested. And sadly, if she's the type to go to the "gigs" and pass out on his floor, she probably isn’t going to sue the ass off of him.

I've defended the guy long enough, i think prision is the best place for him right now.

I think this is his rocknroll death year, so we shouldn't have to hear about him for too much longer. The only thing is that he'll live on praised as some icon...

I simply do not understand the fascination with this idiot. He should take a long hard look at someone like Keith Richards, the poster boy for recreational drug use. Ol' Keith is still alive and kicking and apparently climbing palm trees in Fiji - pretty impressive for a 62 year old man. That's much more entertaining for the fans, Pete take note.

I totally agree. I don't see the big deal. Unfortunately, by the time The Libertines hit Atlanta, he was already missing gigs, so I skipped it. His time in The Sun or anywhere else is fading.

The big deal was that he and Carl Barat had some pretty amazing chemistry and their voices blended so well. That first album is amazing. And their banter back and forth; they were best mates. But it fell apart because of his drug habit. That's the tragedy, because if he had his head on straight, we'd still have that chemistry as The Libertines, not Carl Barat's Libertines-lite with that dork from Cooper Temple Clause. And we would have never been subjected to Babyshambles.

Sad.
