I totally agree. I don't see the big deal. Unfortunately, by the time The Libertines hit Atlanta, he was already missing gigs, so I skipped it. His time in The Sun or anywhere else is fading.

The big deal was that he and Carl Barat had some pretty amazing chemistry and their voices blended so well. That first album is amazing. And their banter back and forth; they were best mates. But it fell apart because of his drug habit. That's the tragedy, because if he had his head on straight, we'd still have that chemistry as The Libertines, not Carl Barat's Libertines-lite with that dork from Cooper Temple Clause. And we would have never been subjected to Babyshambles.
