i dunno if any of you know this

but you can take cake mix and any sort of soft drink you want, and mix it together and bake it and make a cake.

today we had chocolate dr. pepper cake and it tasted like actual chocolate cake ;o.

i'm going to try it with white cake and sprite.

that is the amazing thing i learned today.

so what did you learn.

just now i learned how they make plywood. they take 4 thin layers of wood and place them at 90 degree angles (cross grain). if the grain were running the same way they can be broken just by dropping a marble on them, but when theyre cross grain theyre really strong yet still plyable (duh, PLYwood). i found it veeeeery interesting. lots of chin rubbing.

also, the romans invented concrete, heating, double paned windows, and hundreds of toold for surgery that are almost identical to the tools they use today.

My niece made one of those with coke for a family gathering and I was like no way! But it was really good!

I learned that photoshop can be a bit overwhelming.

Hey Phyllis,

When I first read this, I thought it said "Poo" cake...

My first thought was, "What a cool teacher!"

Hey Phyllis,

I was in GBC today.

Actually, I drove through it. It's in the middle of no where.

I learned that you can make cookies in the microwave.

My first try came out awesome, but my second one made the whole house smell like burnt.
