it's just all about buying loads of chocolate these days. i remember the days when it was all about going to church and having little palm crosses, sigh. hardly anyone does that these days (me being one of them of course)
Palm crosses are for palm sunday though, but they do make things eastery, I like making them. Easter is also about having traditions, like giving easter eggs and hunting for them or rolling them down the hill, thats what makes it really eastery.

I bought some Peeps while out shopping today...and you know what...

THEY'RE awful. Such a nasty chemical taste. I haven't had any for years...and I'll never eat one again. YUCK!

And this is coming from a marshmallow LOVER.

peeps taste horrible but are fun to explode in the micowave. i think this groung has been covered, though.

my favorite easter memory was finding hidden eggs a couple weeks or longer after easter because my dad loved hiding them.

peeps are only good if they are stale. Some kid brought some for squeezle to one of her classes and I ate a "freshie." It was terrible. I only like them if they've been left out in the open for about 4 months.

Okay. I curse all of you who have gone on and on about these chips...er... excuse me, I mean, these crisps.

Good gravy, just how delicious can crisps be, right?

Well, Saturday I happened upon them in the British Commisary here in Dallas. So I picked up a "sample" pack.

Lordy bagordy. There were just enough in that pack to make me mad.
And here I am now without a convenient hook up for those delicioso crisps.

And I hate you for it.

People must like them since somebody is buying them. I don't. But I don't like peeps either. I guess boring ol' jelly beans are more my speed.

I like sour candy like sweet tarts. Thinking about the giant chewy sweet tarts makes my mouth water.

I still don't understand everyone's craving for prawn cocktail crisps.

When we were children, we used to giggle over how similar they tasted to warm vomit in your mouth. Of course, you got used to them, but there was still a prevailing vomity overtone.

Oh my god, yes! That reminds me, there are some in the Easter baskets lying about here, and the kids are at school!
