I got nothing.

This has been a pretty crappy easter weekend. Usually we visit my family, but this year we can't. We didn't even make alternative plans like an champagne easter brunch.

We don't get easter baskets or easter meals at easter over here (well at least I don't know anyone that does that, and we have roast dinner on a sunday anyway)...to be honest I think it's a pretty silly commercialised holiday, but all i care about is that we get looooads and loads of yummy chocolate to feast on -yippee!

sigh. i miss being home. my parents used to hide easter eggs all over the house and outside and my sister and i would find them and open them and there'd be either candy or money or something small and fun inside. they'd make up 4 or 5 baskets too, with different stuff. it makes me miss being a kid!

Easter is a commercialised holiday? The only thing i notice is easter eggs. Most of the other stuff happens in churches. What's the commercial side?

it's just all about buying loads of chocolate these days. i remember the days when it was all about going to church and having little palm crosses, sigh. hardly anyone does that these days (me being one of them of course)
