I have myspace contacts, email contacts and I started a page on Bebo. That will cover most of my friends through the internet. Now I have to write ppl and get phone #s again.
I'm on myspace at www.myspace.com/no1rockfan ...I don't know my bebo address yet.
Justin, is it possible to make a thread regarding the CD swap here if necessary?

KTLoo can be found at www.myspace.com/deepbluesun --That's her band's website.
Hifi, I still have some contact info on people who participated in the CD swaps, if that helps. Send me an IM if you want me to check on anyone in particular.

this just makes me sad. i met a lot of swell people through the forum, and though i'll probably continue to do so here, it just feels... cheap. like i got screwed out of something important to me with no warning or explanation. why they wouldn't want a forum is beyond me. maybe it's an out of sight, out of mind thing. as in, people grow out of the band or disagree with the direction the band is taking, and post on the forum and make the band/whomever mad. if the forum doesn't exist, that change in feeling still does, you're just not as aware of it.
let's hope the forum returns in its glory and that the fragile army rules. i think the lyrics posted on the blog look promising.

very good words, mate.this just makes me sad. i met a lot of swell people through the forum, and though i'll probably continue to do so here, it just feels... cheap. like i got screwed out of something important to me with no warning or explanation. why they wouldn't want a forum is beyond me. maybe it's an out of sight, out of mind thing. as in, people grow out of the band or disagree with the direction the band is taking, and post on the forum and make the band/whomever mad. if the forum doesn't exist, that change in feeling still does, you're just not as aware of it.

Now I've seen a blue beginning
And I've seen a blue 'the end'
Set the scene for seaward swimming
Dim the stage again
And I've seen a blue 'the end'
Set the scene for seaward swimming
Dim the stage again

That was really low. One of the big reasons I liked the Polyurethane Spork aside from the music was the forum. It was just a good place to hang out, meet new people, and talk about whatever. I think half the fun of going to the shows is getting together with people from the forum. Seeing the Spork 4 times in the last 2 years for me wasn't all about the music, it was about getting together with people I had met before and meeting new ones. I thought that was the vision of the band to bring people together. This doesnt seem to be the way to go about doing it. I thought about putting an unoffical board together after the official one closed but after being here this week, I said screw it. I guess I was wrong about what I thought the band truly was. Nothing against the individual band members of course. They are not the ones who are driving the boat toward the giant iceberg.

PIPEDREAM!!!let's hope the forum returns in its glory and that the Fraggle Army rules. i think the lyrics posted on the blog look promising.
sorry, I didn't mean to be harsh. Honestly. They really don't give a shit about you: the fans. They want to sell records. They want to have nothing but good press. They want to minimize the potential for bad "anything" to leak out and spoil their chances to make their $$$.
All Tim & Julie really care about is the house they are building in Lakewood. They could give a fuck if you care about the horn section. They could give a fuck if you wanted a bit o' testosterone in the choir.
They only see themselves, and they will burn everything in their path to make themselves happy.
I really don't understand how people can continue to be so "fawny" when they have done nothing but shit on them. Just like TWH, Fraggle Army will be a crap record that started out golden (I'm making a huge stretch just calling it golden). They'll over-analyze it for the "true hit" that will never materialize. They're done. Has beens that refuse to go away. The "Behind the Music" episode will be one of the ones that you'll all go "Awwww" throughout.
Bottom line: don't expect anything from them, they just love you for your money.

no they also love you for your compliments/time/energy/obsession with them. but no matter how nice you are to them, youre still a dumb fan in their minds so dont count on becoming friends with the band (cough cough jbfromoc). cp is the worst about this. ive never met anyone so elitist in my whole life. if he doesnt want something from you, he doesnt know your name. no matter how many times youve hung out with him.
good luck, good records. bye bye friendly atmosphere.
p.s. whats the word on cj? is he still at good? hows he holding up?
