Poll, yea!

Postby Irock » Mon Feb 16, 2009 3:56 am

So, I have to write a one page paper and a one minute preso for World History 2. About ANY non-American significant literary work or historic book or movie. Easy peasy. But I can't firgure out what I want to do it on. So I'm doing a poll. I've already read Crime and Punishment and seen Ghanfi, and I'm reading Don Quixote now, so level of effort is more or less the same:
"There are many fish in the sea, Maria. But you're the only one I want to mount over my fireplace." ~Walter Matthau

Yea Don Quixote! That's the one I really wanted to do anyhow. :]

I took a class on Don Quixote last year and its now probably my favorite novel of all time. I still have all my notes if you need any background info that you're too lazy to find. Being able to quote Sancho Panza in a paper is worth it.

You can also borrow my copy if you want. I am a big highlight nerd, so all the funniest and most important quotes are marked up. (Makes it a lot faster to write a paper when you dont spend forever finding a quote).

Which translation are you reading?
