I only have one song by The Zutons. I think Ellie sent it in one of the cd exchanges.

How long has it been since you caught a lightning bug?

I just had a delightfully refreshing Snakebite (Ace pear cider + Harp's) on Sunday; does that count as my favorite beer?

Katie -->
The 90s sitcom episode that stands out to me is the Bizarro World episode of Seinfeld. It's the one where Jerry's date has man hands, Kramer gets a job and puts saltines in his briefcase, and Elaine finds friends just like them (but successful and good citizens) and has to choose.

I'm scared to taking another breath. One of my cubicle neighbors has a rotten gut and they think they are being sneaky.

Have you ever tried to be sneaky but it didn't work out as planned?

Sadly, yes. The first time I fell asleep with Sam in the room, I woke myself up with a sound. . . then died when I realized what the sound was!

Oh yeah! I'm a def a "double entendres" man. Nothings better than a pair of big, wet, supple double entendres.... if you know what I mean.

What verbal gaff have you made that still makes you giggle?

Can it be one that someone else made?

When we were visiting potential wedding reception sites, a salesperson told us: "The silver package comes with an ice sculpture. You can get a heart or swans -- or it's really popular now to get a mammogram done!"

We paused. I asked, "Monogram?"

when i actually had a good one i didn't mind it. i've had so many cavities that going to the dentist usually meant making the mouth better which i am for. but the last few dentist has resulted in fewer teeth and more lingering pain so i fucking hate dentists right now.

ever been to a podiatrist?

Yes, I had bad ingrown toenails when I was little. Somewhere, I have a picture of 3-year-old me sitting on a wastebasket turned upside-down, soaking my feet in salt water (a regular occurrence in those days.)

Are your feet narrow, wide or normal?

My feet are wide. Makes finding comfy shoes a real bitch.

Do you get any satisfaction from knowing that hundreds of Starbucks stores are closing?

Kinda. Sucks for all these folks that will be out of jobs. And I don't know that independent coffee shops will replace the bux that are closing... which if it was the case... that would make it satisfactionizing.

The one thing I have to give Starbucks is they brought up the appreciation level of decent coffee in the U.S. There was a time not too long ago where someone living in... let's say... McKinney... would have to drive all the way to Dallas to go to a coffee shop that served a decent cup of coffee. So I can't hate bux completely.

Not for about a year, but I should soon! I am the universal donor.
