So, but - wait - have you ever met a teenager?

I had an English teacher in High School - little old lady - and she played Killing an Arab for us when we read The Stranger. No one dug it but me. And while I thought it was cool that she played the song, to this day I have no love for Camus. Nick Cave's pretty ok though.

well, wth this song and this lesson, it's less about nick cave, and it's more like, 'okay, kids, here is why utopias are bad. they're great if you believe, not so great if you're the other.' the specific lesson is: point out the utopian and the potential dystopian parts.

Nick Cave doesn't approve of grooming children and using his music as a soundtrack.

...Unless it's Grinderman.
