i havent been there but i have been to the snow castle in finland

its beautiful but cold inside. dont let all the fur blankets decieve you. when you spill your hot coffee on the ice table it immediately freezes. so instead of wiping the table, they melt off the top dirty layer with a hot wet rag. weird.

DALYA! i am so jealous. finland has always been one of my most lusted after destinations. i was a few steps away from applying for a fulbright to go study there after college. i could be fluent in finnish probably in six months if i buckled down and learned it, but it just wasn't the right time. i wanted to study contemporary dance over there - their stuff is just mind-blowing. and the culture is so intriguing to me. why were you over there?
