arsebook looks promising. facebook seems to be everywhere in the media at the moment, it's like when your dad starts talking about mp3's or summat.

I have facebook too, but i don't quite get it just yet. I'm more annoyed by all of their emails more than anything.

Bingo. I've had one for awhile.

Still can't figure out how to find folks on there.

my friend was showing it to me last night...seems really nice. you can do a lot more with it than myspace. but in the end it's just another social network thingy and I still feel like joining is keeping up with the joneses. but I'll probably join and do about as much with it as I do myspace...which is not much at all. I just don't have time to fiddle round with all the bells and whistles.

the one place myspace kicks is right in the face is myspace bulletins. I actually find things out there. shows. when a friend is on a diet. when a guy moves to san fran and totally trashes my best friends because he owes them money. i like the drama of my space. but like the scrabble and sending pokes on the face.

there was a point to this.

just search my first name and last name and i'll pop up. there is only 3 pages of us. maybe search the name and city.

go to account and notifications and you can turn off all the e-mails.

i like facebook because it's a good time killer. i can do lots of dumb shit on it while i'm supposed to be working. like scrabble. and draw bad graffiti. and defenestrate jason roach.

Facebook sucks. MySpace is a classic, once and forever. And it doesn't have all those frakin annoying applications. Yeesh.

Yeah, I think it's the same with me. I like to see what the 92389427390472937423740923749273 bands I like are up to, and it conveniently keeps them organised in the same place so I can find out what's going on with them. And most people get annoyed with bands bugging them to listen to their stuff, but if I have the time, I actually like listening to what they have to offer. I don't see anything like that on facebook. I just don't like the layout to be honest...and I'm old and used to Myspace...
