The Spree and FC Dallas once again.....

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

It's just a sports anthem, people! I can totally imagine this playing in a stadium as the team takes the field, or pitch, or whatever - very bouncy and upbeat and cheer-inducing.

As song on its own merits, well, I probably won't listen to it again.

Sybil
Ugh, no. It's bad enough the fucking Inferno types sing the damn Dallas theme all the time at the games. If they play this at the game, I will boo. Were there no Oi bands available to do the whole league? The only one of the entire league's-worth of songs that is worth a rat's ass is the DC United song by Bad Brains.

Footie == Punk
Footie != ensemble folk-rock

Well, after all, hockey is a game played by large scary men wearing armor, helmets and carrying weapons.

"Footie", on the other hand, played by skinny pretty boys in short pants...ahem.

Sy "ducks and runs away" bil

P.S. but seriously, I didn't realize how slightly built David Beckham was until I saw that footage of him goofing around with Reggie Bush. And Bush isn't especially big by American football standards! Looks to me like Posh and Becks BOTH need a good meal.
Are you on the list?

Nice! Well, I actually think it is awesome that they have a beautiful home. Everyone deserves that!

James, you have a $500K house, too, right?

P.S.
On second thought, my CEO probably craps $464,240 houses. . .

Agreed.

But back to the song, I can't help but think of Bow Wow Wow's "C30 C60 C90 Go" when I hear it...albeit it's a bit slower...

agreed. My only point was that bands only record songs like this for a shot of cash...being low profile and all...which would be the only other reason. Well, that and the song is horrible.

Yep. Of course, then sometimes it can really pay off. I'm pretty sure The Lightning Seeds have never earned more money than with "Three Lions On A Shirt" (which is the big England football song of several years ago that really hasn't been replaced). All of their albums and all of his career can't pan out to what he's made from that one song, and continues to make. I'm pretty sure he'd rather be remembered for other things (like producing all of those Echo & The Bunnymen and Coral records, or the first two Lightning Seeds records), but....

But at the least, they need all the cash they can get their hands on to make it work...
