His dad just died a week or two ago, and I wrote Roy a PM about it. He wrote me back with a really sweet note. I wish I had kept it. I am sure he knew he was on his own way out.

It sounds funny to say, but he kicked it old school. He worked his ass off. He smoked like crazy, even after fights with cancer, diabetes and heart attacks -- but came back from illness to run a half marathon just last month. He was loyal to his family. He was loyal to his church and found strength in it -- but never seemed preachy to me! He liked punk and lived on a farm.

Quality guy.

Steve ( starman ) is cklearly ill. he hasnt been to work for a week so I called him this morning. he babbled on incoherently and said that I have to die so he can live. I called is sister and told her about it. long story short, the sherriff and the paramedics came and took him to a hospital. he is clearly ill. he has always wanted to be the center of attention, but something is terribly , terribly wrong.

I dont know if Steve is on drugs or what but something is terribly wrong. I am sorry for any confusion or grief that he has caused on my behalf. I'll post again later on today when I have time.
