I wish. . .

10 Lucy kisses,
100 apples from sweet students,
1,000 hours to take photos,
and plenty of crossword puzzles with Russ
for your birthday!

Aw thank you everyone!

My birthday itself was a bit strange- had a job interview I didn't get (didn't really want to work there as the head was obviously looking for blokes, there were three jobs and two went to blokes I know who are certainly no better than me- blokes are 30% more likely to get jobs than us ladies. Plus the head winked at me as I was leaving which was just, well, yuk!). Then, as we were leaving the house later to go out for my birthday meal, Russ and I managed to lock ourselves out of the house! We (erm, I mean he) had to kick the door in to get back inside. It was actually quite scary how easy it was to break into our own house, so we're getting a whole new front door and doorframe that's much more secure- plus we've given a spare key to our neighbours!

Last night I went out for a meal, ice cream and drinks with my fellow trainee teachers, which was ace. We had a right laugh, and it was nice to compare experiences of our latest teaching practice. We'll be qualified in 7 weeks (scary thought).

Ugh, I was too busy looking for camera shaped cakes on google images and when I didn't find them, I forgot to post!!!

Happy belated Birthday Helen! It was great to see you a couple of weeks ago. I hope everything goes well in the next few weeks!
