Well, it's ridiculous. Nobody deserves to be treated like a criminal just for travelling. I can't avoid it on my Aussie passport either, because they are also covered by the scheme.
I know it's stating the obvious, but I'm fed up with this fuzzy-minded 'terrorism' as an excuse for doing whatever the fuck we want scheme. I'll be on holiday in sensible countries.

why are you treated like a criminal for having 8 more fingers scanned? can't see that stopping people travelling or wanting to travel, if you've got nothing to hide then does it really matter? i'm more concerned about the RFID chip technology in my passport being open to anyone to copy thanks to the cheap way the UK government's implemented it to be honest.

I think it's naiive to think that most Western governments aren't already tracking your travel/spending habits.

I don't mind being tracked as long as the technology is accurate. My fear is that they pull the wrong person cuz the machines crap.

I'm given the once over everytime I enter the UK ....they've even tried tricking me up with their questions. Now I suppose if I was going over so often on business and not pleasure perhaps they'd just stamp me in, but I guess I must fit some crazy profile. (can't imagine which one)

Define "accurate."

true, it's just too bad we're going down this road at all. I think I preferred when I "didn't know" they we're keeping tabs on me.
