YES. Thru, lite, nite, brite -- all of that stuff irritates me. But I love Lite Brites.

I have to re-make a Mondrian painting. Should I construct it out of Lego blocks, decorate a cake with colorful candles in that pattern or do it on a Lite Brite?

What you should do is an aerial photo (roads, fields, etc). They'll not expect that ;)

I'll hide first, then probably surrender.

Will they be physical beings or just some kind of force, you think?

I have a partially categorized list, but no actual purchases. I don't know if that officially counts as being started. Probably not.

Do you have a family member who gives very odd gifts? (I have two aunts who do, like an E.R.Murrow biography or a hand painted glass "vase" that looks like it took about 3 minutes.)

He doesn't give everyone weird gifts, but I think my was at a complete loss for what to give a teenage girl. When I was 13 me a chia pet. Seriously.
Then when I was 14 he got me a Rush T shirt (?). I'd heard of Rush, but never listened to them.

Do you have any kind of gag gift tradition in your family?

not intentionally, but for every gift giving event, my mother gives us jesus stuff (books, tapes/cds, bookmarks, crosses, framed verses, ...) - we find it amusing to try to guess what jesus decided to send us each time. my favorite thing so far this year has been the hanging spinner cross....it's trippy & the cat's love to watch it

do you think cats are into jesus, or do they just like to watch spinny things?

I don't know if they're into Jesus, I know my cat thinks thinks she is Jesus...

Do cats normally get more cuddly / nicer when they get older, or is Oolgy an exception?

I do not like raking.

What's your favorite vintage board game?

Girl Talk: Turns out, it makes a hilarious drinking game.
The game of Life is pretty fun too.

When you play Monopoly, what is your preferred playing piece, and do you have any Monopoly strategies?

I like all of them, but it's fun to roll the little wheelbarrow down the streets.

For me, that's where the fun ends. I don't really like Monopoly. The only strategy I ever used was to hide money from myself and others when I was 10 -- not sure how that helped, but my friend's big sister did it and she seemed to beat us every time.

Why does Dallas County prevent me from paying my vehicle registration online (after it is 2-3 days late) -- but they make it simple to pay the TICKET I got for having an expired registration?

If they had the same people doing the Web site for both, I would have been able to pay it online and I wouldn't have gotten a ticket.
