yes it's an opera browser, similar to mobile phones. you can browse regular sites as long as they aren't in flash.... no pdfs or soundfiles / downloads either.

think we'll mainly use it for quick access to email,forums etc when the laptop is in use... or on sunday mornings with a hangover.

it's a bit slow on pic heavy sites but you can turn that functionality off so it's text only. text input is done using the touch screen ala letter writing in animal crossing,

I may just import the japanese one since there is no region coding or anything going on any more, I hear someone got firefox on it and it's pretty sweet, maybe I will pick up that bad boy.

I can't shrink my avatar as I have no web space, and this picture came up when I searched for dog and costume.
