um, the page number changes?

why do we give such importance to certain numbers, when, in reality, they aren't really special at all?

**edit** I made the number change (but I don't feel any different)

Not sideways, but with a limp. Ha, just kidding. Not my shiny new iMac. It's running like a champ as far as I can tell.

When did you stop running for fun and start running for fitness (or necessity or not at all?)

No, too bad though. A coach like that would have definitely have unlocked my still-dormant ass-kicking potential. Did have a little-league coach with the flip-up glasses and a plug of tobacco in at all times. This guy was like 5'9 and 200+ pounds trying to act like Tommy Lasorda in front of a bunch of 10 year olds, what an idiot.

In light of his tale about the bizarre coach in 1985, his question should be -- how short is TOO short for a pair of shorts?

i have a theory about the length of shorts - i feel that the inseam of the shorts (in inches) should be as long or longer than the size of the shorts. here is how it works: a size 2 can have shorts with a 2" inseam, but a size six cannnot. a size six cannot have anything shorter than a 6" inseam. now there is probably some point, probably around 8-10", at which this process would cap out and any size over a 10 could also have a 10" inseam. now this may sound complicated, i never want to see a size 20 pair of shorts with a 2" inseam again. but that is just me!

Yes. From here on out, Speedo wearers must now wear a full-body sock like Slim Goodbody!
