No. But my neck does. I was teaching my children the finer points of headbanging.

Do you ever feel old?

Yes. I remember the very first time felt that way, too. I was 18 and someone told me that The Little Mermaid had originally been released ten years eairlier.

And THAT was ten years ago. Ug.

Does it make you feel old that if the movie The Little Mermaid were a person, it would be old enough to drink?

Not really. But I'd be old enough to be thought uncool by a 17 year old Little Mermaid for giving her a hard time about underage drinking. (it was release in '89)

Do you remember the first movie you saw in a theater?

i think it was little darlings, with tatum o'neil, kristy mcnichol, and matt dillon. that is the first one i remember anyway. my nana took us and she was properly mortified.

have any kid crushes that when you see what has become of their once-heart-throbby selves, you are dismayed and wonder where have all the good times gone?

frog"leif garrett, but not matt dillon because he is still hot as fire"gy

I'm ok with circles as long as they don't involve jerks.

Did you have a good weekend?

Nip/Tuck is scandalous and well-written -- and it often features full frontal. I think you'd like it. The only thing I don't like is the way they treat Julia like she's a goddess, and I don't see it.

Compounds have bigger guns and fly their flags from the roof.

I took my car to the shop last week because the tires were wearing unevenly (turns out they just needed a rotation), and the service guy put my key into this peripheral on his computer, and MY KEY TOLD HIM THE MILEAGE. God I love that key.

Did you know that the battery for the MINI clicker (which is embedded in the MINI logo on the key and not a stupid separate piece) is recharged by the ignition hole thing when you drive it?

i did not know that. i thought it was cool that i could give the paint shop my VIN and they could give me the exact match for the couple little scratches that have occured while muscleing the top on and off. wow.

ever get freaked out that you can scan a little piece of plastic and it transfers a ton of personal information about you? if so, do you think about it often when chosing the "debit" option?

frog"yes, but i do it anyway"gy

Damn, I should have warned you. Sorry. NTB tried to sell me a full alignment package because the guy pointed out the uneven wear when I rotated my tires there. Turns out, our engines put most of th weight on one of the front tires when we turn, so it always wears like that. So we need to be good about rotating those suckers.

Also, I have a blister in one of my run-flats, and to BMW/Mini, it is only considered a visual blemish -- not a defect. Hopefully, it'll hold. :(

Back to the game. . .

I have thought about the info out there, and it is a bit weird, but for some reason it doesn't scare me. I guess I'm not as afraid of Big Brother because I work for The Man so I am already in The Machine.

More powerful/daunting: Big Brother or The Man?
