in response to my question asking what they do for fun there, the waitress said, "drive on down to peebles and hang out in the parking lot." i was like, "grown ups do that?" and she was like, "EVERYBODY does that!"

and when i asked her how the people were in her little town, she said "everybody is an alcoholic." to which i resisted the urge to say, "then y'all must have some really good AA here! awesome!"

steve is supposed to post a few pics since i am too LD to do it. and i have more which i suppose i will stick in photobucket.

good times.

OMG I saw Schlitterbahn on TV last nite.... FUCK ME, that place is AWESOME!!! damn...I don't think I could ever go on the super high one that you cross your arms on and then drop

I like how Squeezle insists she hates having her photo taken and Steve chases her down with a camera for a week and posts dozens of shots on his blog. . . but he respects Rish's decision.

In regards to Squeezle, I would have to imagine it would be a bit hard to be a recluse when you live with the board head. You forget, I don't live next door to all the forumites.

I just meant that since you live in Texas, you're a bit more central to all the events the forumites plan/join in, and living with Justin only makes you more likely to go. And if you see people at events, it's a bit harder for them to label you a recluse.

And, to his credit (I suppose), it wasn't for lack of trying that he doesn't have photographic proof of my existence.

Living with someone who doesn't like her picture taken (I, however, am a camera whore), I find it very interesting the number of people who just ignore a request to not take your picture, or think they're being coy and cute when they go ahead and do so.
