...when three coworkers started sharing inside jokes at a business dinner about one of the guy's birthdays - three guys who lived in Denver, Dallas, and Ft Wayne, have met face-to-face fewer than five times, and had never hung out outside of a work / happy hour environment. Missing out kinda made me feel like a square.
Anywhoo I'm on Facebook now, find me please? Or I'll eventually find you, but it'll take longer that way.

I found you, tagged you and mocked you a little for giving in.

Justin found you for me. (thanks Justin) I've requested your friendship and will mock you once you've accepted.
you already rank higher than some grade school classmates that are trying to add me. I don't quite remember them all.
but I must tell you this crazy FB story. so one of my grade school classmates (7th/8th) found me on FB, and I eventually added her (and that's how I've gotten the other add requests). Mind you I haven't seen her in umpteen years. We have both lived in SF apparently. Mind you SF is a tiny tiny city. Last night while at Costco, I see this woman and she looks like MaryLou (from grade school). I thought to myself several times when I spotted her, "no that's not her, how random I don't see her or think of her in umpteen years and now that we've reconnected I see her?" NAH
Well she comes up to me in the parking garage and ask..."are you Jackie?" So FB is a strange beast. I suppose we would have looked familiar to each other before FB if we'd seen each other out, but probably wouldn't have been able to place each. crazy and random.

Re: I think I knew I'd be giving in to Facebook...
I went to high school in Illinois with Bob, and college in Texas with Jen. Jen was also friends with a guy named Chris in college, but I didn't know him. Then Chris went to Illinois for grad school and met my friend Bob.
So since we had 2 friends in common, he added me. I was like, "I don't know you, but this is a weird little coincidence so yeah, we should be friends."
It all feels extra weird to me since I have lived in NJ, CT, NC, IL and TX -- and have friends from every one of those stops on facebook. And now family. And work friends. And some work acquaintances.
And Forkers and Jellyfish email list friends. It's weird, I say!
