Yo Brits, you guys shop at Fresh & Easy?? Don't they kow that to succeed in the US competing against Whole Foods you need marketing that tells consumers, "It's ok, your suspicions were correct all along. You really ARE superior to everyone else. shhhhhh!"

I hope they make a go of it, sounds like a place I'd like shop if there were one in my neighborhood.
Food retail guru Kevin Coupe, founder of MorningNewsBeat.com, minces no words: "There isn't a place in the world where Tesco has gone one-on-one with Wal-Mart and Tesco hasn't won."
Sounds promising?

From my experiences, most of the big player super markets in the UK have really good store-branded quick and easy to prepare foods. They are also big on no artificial flavours/colours and trying to be eco-friendly.

There was a lot of controversy when Whole Foods moved in to London and they seem to be having some growing pains but are still faring well. I go there at least every other week!!
