if someone was around in california at the end of april/may for a month, what would be the things that someone would need to see? in particular with a fairly small budget?

 sounds like someone's going back to coachella this year! It's a pretty good line up. I'm just waiting for some of the bands cough*love and rockets*cough to make their way up here tho.

There's so much to see in CA. where to start.

Desert
Coast
Giant redwood forrests
mountains
Those cover the pretty awesome natural wonders

LA for sure, it's pretty fun and cool

I guess it depends on what you want to see in CA?

to be honest i was considering skipping coachella, most of the bands i want to see i've seen in the last 6 months away, except kraftwerk, and its soo flipping hot at coachella

as for things i want to see, i've not really thought that far ahead, its the first point on my round the world trip, so far my plan is to get there and see how it goes from there

OUT: Prince Alberts.

IN: That thing where they split your dick in half. Would that be called forking, too?

The answer to this could vary widely depending on what part of CA you're talking. So what part of CA are you talking? Winery tours are kinda neat, and free. There's one in LA that's free, anyway. I know some other stuff in LA, but other than that all I can say is that the Joshua Tree national park is worth seeing, it's right by Coachella.

well if you're in LA, I sure hope you're planning on renting a car. Otherwise, you're pretty much screwed. Nobody walks in LA....
