RIP Heath Ledger

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

I predicted that this very morning. No surprise there.

January is turning out to be a not-so-great month for WWI veterans.
almost as bad for ww1 vets this month than soldiers in iraq. The vets clearly need more armoured plating on their mobility scooters.

I was really shocked when I learned of his death yesterday.

He didn't come accross as the type who had a drug problem, either that or the tabloids paid no attention to it! At least that is what I am assuming, to be that young and die suddenly like that, unless there was some sort of pre-existing health condition, I can't imagine it being anything else other than an overdose of some kind.

Reports show that he had a bottle of sleeping pills and anti-anxiety pills nearby at the scene.

Early autopsy reports are inconclusive pending further testing which could take at least 10 days for results.

It is always a shame to see somone so talented and gifted shot down in their prime. I always thought he was a really good actor in the few movies I saw him in (The Patriot, Lords of Doggtown, and Brokeback Mountain (which also bored the shit out of me as well, but I could appreciate the acting involved)

I didn't click on the godhatefags.com link fearing corporate big brother, but what I think is happening (protesting at his funeral? someone fill me in) I think that is fowl and disgusting, go do something productive, anger isn't energy!

I bet it's one of those freak accidents that sometimes happens when drugs (prescription) are mixed. Sad tho.

well, if the autopsy was inconclusive, then it probably wasn't overdose. Typically it's pretty damn apparent through basic tox screen and stomach contents. Time will tell.

yikes I forgot that Ben and Ledger were friends/biz partners. Ledger directed a video off Ben's last album too. :(

ahhhhh! this reminds me of the creepy freemason commercials they play on the radio up here. they use a ben franklin impersonator, as if that makes it any less freaky and weird. freemasonry scares the bejeezus out of me.

I think impersonating dead people we have no recordings of is a totally no talent ass clown thing to do. something i could totally do.
