Never been a beer drinker but gave up alcohol for a year in 2007 and then it just carried on. Had a couple of birthday drinks last year / this year but that's been it.

i was a fan of the tina fey/amy poehler combo. i haven't seen a lot of the older SNLs, though.

Cheese and marmite sandwich, hula hoops and a banana, washed down with a cool glass of lemonade.

Where are you going for your works xmas lunch?

we just had ours. it was in the lobby of my old building. across the parking lot. I won a rachel zoe purse and some gift cards to macaroni grill.

You think we'll ever get back to the days when the company rented out a nice ballroom and served a good dinner?

You might, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

We haven't had any kind of company-sponsored holiday event since Bell Atlantic bought GTE. Well, I'm sure there have been some, but none that anyone I know was invited to.

Ever get a Christmas bonus?

Annual yes (not this year as I have to have two calendar years in for that, wish I hadn't started in February), Christmas no.

(and the company is having a Christmas party at Marie Gabrielle but we have to miss it due to my sister getting married, bummer)
