of course, nowadays, you buy the Presidency. After all, Obama did, too. I'm not knocking his character, but he did have a substantially bigger wallet than McCain.

No Mr. J....I bought the election and many people like me.
rubberman, phyllis... you have excellent points. i figured i'd point it out since the jab-and-run has become rather frequent around these parts lately.

Exactly! I helped pay the way for Obama to win if that's the case. My $25 at a time every payday! Money well spent, if you ask me. Who needs an iPhone!

that would be a cool video, cutting from person to person, you know different colors and looks, saying I bought the election, cut to the next one saying it, maybe even through in some harvard big wigs, bill gates, that asian dude from google, all saying "I bought the election"...
That's a brilliant idea. You should think about going into politics...or television. :D

I got some bumper stickers and a couple of T-shirts. Oh yeah, and a shiny new president.

$25 a pay day was my pleasure as well.

Citigroup Inc $296,151
P.S.
There's a rumor that employees like me won't be getting merit bonuses this year, but that guy got $296,151 from our corporation.

I will get back at them by spending even MORE time on forkerscentral.com at work.

but the US gov just gave citicorp a big bail out...I'd rather you have the money than those bastards! AND yet even before the bailout I noticed they had enough money to gobble some other bank up. All the banks that gobbled other banks got like 25 million and the smaller banks got like 3 - 5 million. bastards.

Nah, Wells Fargo outbid us (we were only supposed to get a piece of Wachovia; they bought the whole thing) so no bank-gobbling for us.
