thank y'all for the birthday wishes and pics :D

i'm happy to report that Bad Brains were bloody wonderful last night, got a good spot on the raised level by the soundboard directly in front of Dr Know - man that guy can shred a guitar pedals1

was a bit worried about reports of HR - while it's safe to say that the days of somersaults are out of the question, his voice sounded as great as ever and i'm sure the shawl / big shades / suit combo will catch on. Only a couple of songs from the new album meant a bunch of classics too - I, The Regulator, FVK, Banned in DC, Pay to Cum, I and I Survive, Sailin' On, Let Me Help, Soulcraft just rolled out. Even the dub reggae got a circle pit going :D

and they played At the Movies so officially the best gig of the year 8)
