is hard. sorry i'm not around. miss you guys but you're not worth the $30,000 it will cost me to lose my scholarship.

my classes this semester are:
intro to crime and criminology
chem I
chem lab
rhetoric (essay writing)
literature - don quixote in world literature
pre-cal

i have to read don quixote. all of it. so don't plan on hearing from me for about 3 months.

p.s. of course i will get sick of studying in a week and be on her 24/7 again but let me just think im a good student.

p.p.s. i think im gonna vote for obama.

That Don Quixote class sounds awesome!

I'm taking:

The History of Civilization - so, not much to cover there right? It goes from ancient times up to the reformation, and it's Western civ only. It's a 2000 level and should be a cake walk. My prof is Canadian.

and 20th c. British Lit - 1900 to 1930. Joyce and lots of Virginia Woolf. I read "Who's Afraid of" when I was 16 and fucking hated it, but everyone raves about her so much I'm sure I'll get something out of it. Or at least I'll have more concrete reasons for hating her. It's a 4000 level, and it will be hard.

sunny - you'll like virginia woolf. you should read Orlando if you don't read it in class. Also A Room of One's Own (which is really a novel-length essay about female writers). she's really sarcastic and smart and funny. oh, and crazy a little bit.

I'm taking:

First Year Portuguese - 2...
The only Portuguese you need to know is "Nao, Obrigado" & "Sim, Por Favor". Actually, you just have to know which side of the disk to turn over.

I didn't realize it was possible to have a meat hangover until I spent an evening at Fogo de Chao.

Jessica's dating a Brazillian, but I don't think he'd hold your hand. Maybe if you paid him.
