I know you've put a whole lot of time and effort into this "anthropological medicine" hobby or whatever it is of yours. But have you ever considered a more traditional education?

That article reads like satire. I love that only women can take that course of study.
Since they fired the only woman who taught except for the seminary president's wife, I guess men will have to teach the courses, which makes sense actually... Wonder if they'll have elective courses in BJs. Oh, that's probably just extra credit.
Oh, while we're on the topic, I ran across Above Rubies a while back. A women's ministry - for women, by women, on how to be a good woman, support on how to follow God's plan for you, which is to b a wife and mother. "Interesting articles" such as "Submission - How Does It Work?," "A Pool Or A Baby?" "Is There A Better Word Than Kids?" and "Breastfeeding God's Way"
Not trying to set Squeezle or anyone else off but the site kind of fascinated me. It's full of horror stories about peoples lives being "ruined" by birth control and tubal ligations / vasectomies... And this one, 101 Reasons To Have [An Unlimited Number Of] Children. Great reasons, like "We still have an empty seat in our van, and we'd like to fill it!" It really still kinda trips me out there there are so many women out there that think this way.
It's great to know that women are so capable though - we sure can pick up the slack and oppress each other when the men folk are out workin!

I've seen it, it is just so awful that all i can do is laugh. I was a La Leche League Leader for over ten years and, thankfully, I never heard those in my meetings. Women brought all kinds of opinions to meetings and I had to keep the focus on breastfeeding and off of religion, home birthing, vegetarianism, pro-life, pro-choice, and all those other off-topic subjects that LLL was NOT about. While there is some truth to both of those particular statements, I'm not sure about the "sweet testimony to a lost world" part.
