ROOMIES!
One house. Three bedrooms. The kid who has the largest room will be moving to another house next year and so the other two are squabbling over who will get the larger room.
Roomie #1: I was in Spain while the other two were moving in and therefore had last pick of the rooms. Therefore, I should get first pick for next year. I go to bed pretty early now (11:30-midnight) but claim that I will stay up later next year. I don't want people smoking marijuana in my room but am fine with them doing it anywhere else in the house. My furniture would fit in the smaller of the two rooms but it would be a tight squeeze and would fit so much better in the large room. I don't have the ultimate taste in music but I have an open mind and often let people pick what music they want to hear if I have it.
Roomie #2: It doesn't matter what order you picked last year. This room, being the largest, it is the room everyone hangs out in and will continue to be next year. I stay up really late (3:00-4:00), much more conducive to the constant hanging out that occurs in college. People can smoke as many bowls as they want in the room. My furniture would not be as cumbersome and would provide even more opportunity for comfortable seating via other couches and such. I think I have a really good taste in music and will listen to suggestions, but will most likely play what I want.
Pretty even or is either being selfish?

roomie 2 should get it imo. if roomie 1 gets it he's the only one to get a better room whereas if roomie 2 gets it then roomie 1 also benefits by getting roomie 2's old, bigger room.

But don't you have a living room?

I propose an amalgamation of the race around the world and the naked wrestling, i.e. whoever is arrested for streaking last gets first choice.
p.s. Jan I am probably about to be kicked out of the computer lab for your signature.

i'm the law of the land, i got ga-ga-ga-ga-guh-guh-girls on the command
i think #2 should get it. #1 seems like the douche to me. (come on, it's college - pot smoking happens.) they are both being selfish, but that's not the point. if you have a bit of a party house, it seems like the better idea, but i agree, what's the deal with the living room?
dread stuff

liar pantsOh yes, you're certainly right. There will be absolutely none of that. I promise. And uh, yeah, there should be no pot smoking for anyone, especially when company comes to visit from out of state.

side note...I didn't read the situation cuz it felt like math class...if train A leaves from the station at...train B arrives when? I hate the maths
