Re: HEY FUCKERS
Lesson one: learn to laugh at yourself.Its’ English Department is not fully developed yet
Guess one: I don't think life experiences make you a better writer. Writing a lot makes you a better writer. From what you've written here, it appears as if your field of vision is too narrow. Yes, I'm sure the concrete jungle angle is all well and good but surely there is more to Dallas and its surrounding countryside than just that. Can you find inspiration in nothing else but the city? What about your soul? Is that not the deepest well of weirdness and inspiration you could possibly draw on? Why do you feel you must be inspired by your surroundings?
theres no surrounding countryside around dallas anymore and there are no good writing programs in dallas.
the question for the essay, by the way, is: discuss your reasons for applying to nyu. why do you want to leave your current school to transfer to nyu? how will your goals be better achieved here?
so i have to explain why utd is wrong for me. but youre saying i talk aboutit too much?
p.s. im minoring in writing, not majoring. its not my only goal.

I myself am hell;
nobody’s here—
nobody’s here—
I don't know about the city of Dallas proper, but I have to disagree that there are no good writing programs in the area. UTA has some great professors (and some not so great) and I, for one, become a better writer all the time.theres no surrounding countryside around dallas anymore and there are no good writing programs in dallas.
