The magic of craigslist

Postby Rebecca » Wed Mar 07, 2007 12:20 am

I need a printer, preferably one that also scans and copies.

10 miles away, a lady buys a new printer and her old printer is taking up space.

Lady posts ad on craigslist.

I meet the lady in a Blockbuster parking lot, give her $60, and now I have a gently used printer/scanner/copier (which retails at $200) of my very own. Everyone's happy.

I know craigslist has been around for a long time, but now I realize how amazing it is!

Craigslist made excess furniture (a matress, a filing cabinet, a desk chair, a small table) disappear from my place when Jason moved in. And No, it wasn't all his stuff we got rid of.

What a great idea!
