Anyone watching United States of Tara on Showtime? I know Sunny said she wanted to. . .

So we recorded last week's pilot and watched it last night -- liked it. No theme song.

Right after that, we watched the second episode. This time there was a theme song. . . a really familiar voice singing the theme song. . . Sam yelled from the other room, "Who is that? Is it. . . ?" Yes.

the show looks interesting. i bet the song sucks.
I found out from a Quick article that I just ran across that it is Tim, his kids, and nieces that did the song.
further proof that tim can't write a fucking song by himself.

I missed the second episode - I thought it was tonight? Oh yeah because I can't remember to watch anything on Sunday night that's not 1. animated or 2. a Brit Com.

I guess I'll hear it tonight.. the Delaughter / fauxrum connection isn't bad enough to cancel out the Toni Colette cred. (er. Collette. Whatev.)

10 year olds don't really care about getting paid for a performance, eh?

Depends on who their legal guardian is.

It wasn't bad. And I still like the show, but I kinda hated the sexed-up little schpiel the daughter gave Alice. Even though none of the dialougue is exactly "realistic," that stuck out for me as reaching over the top.
