If you can watch the whole thing...

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

I'm gonna save seeing all JR's pelvic thrusts until Nov. 12. I'll be seeing them in London. I actually imagine that will be pretty cool no matter what.

Wow. I actually couldn't watch the whole thing, and I don't even care about the Sex Pistols.

I heard they're all poor though, because of Malcolm McLaren. If that's the case, you can't blame a guy for finally wanting to eat at age 50.

Doesn't look like Mr. Lydon's been going hungry lately.

Nah, I don't blame the guy... probably because I don't really care about the Sex Pistols (per se) either. But I do think he coulda found another way to make a buck, even reality TV might have seemed more dignified - but I guess "dignified" was never something he shot for, so maybe this actually makes perfect sense??.

hmmm

I shall report back. I actually saw them at the warfield the last reunion, the show was fine for a band not around very long and with noisey punk rock songs. I'm really interested to see who shows up for the show in london tho, I hope there are loads of interesting people. :D

To be honest, I hate The Sex Pistols. I've never held them in much regard just because they were first (supposedly), doesn't mean they were the best. Although I don't know for sure because I heard those early shows were just blinding...but their music loses a lot on that record.

I love Public Image Ltd though, so go figure. He made a bit of cash with that, so...

He also did a reality TV show here: "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here"...well, for a little while anyway. He was fairly entertaining.

Ahh, Sunny, it wasn't THAT bad. The Amy Winehouse/Charlotte Church video was much harder to watch.

I saw the Sex Pistols on that last tour, Sybil did too, as I recall. I wasn't a fan but it was an EVENT and I couldn't miss it.

I also saw PIL 20 years or so ago.

Mr. Lydon is always entertaining, if nothing else.

I'll have to take your word for it on the Church / Winehouse thing. I can't even bring myself to google that,, much less watch it.

And you're right, it wasn't THAT bad. Unless "that" refers to the badness level at which I'm unable to watch a thing, because it was *that* bad. :)

Maybe "bad" is the wrong word. It *was* that - disturbing? annoying? All I know is it gave me shivers.

i "not *baaaad*, just sorta utterly unwatchable" rock

So last night was the gig, i actually thought it was good. perhaps not great, but i went in with somewhat low expectations and so i was pleasantly surprised. plus i was drunk and having a really good time. oh yeah and it's like they were expecting me as they have the CA flag up on stage. they marched out the oldies, johnny didn't seem as tragic on the stage as he did on tv. so that's a good thing. anyway, i got just what i wanted from it. plus i spent the evening with my friends, so all in all a good night. and my hangover wasn't too bad today, but mind i slept in and then took a disco nap. i really should get some food, it's almost 5:30 and i haven't eaten all day. mmmmm fish and chips methinks.

oh yeah, i'm having a great time and heading to barcelona tomorrow morning. ciao

what the hell is the deal with amy winehouse? she is a black man trapped in a 13 year old white jewish girls body with the personality/rep of courtney love.

what a weirdo.
