I'm not sure if I want to see it or not. I'm pretty sure I'll be sobbing like a wee baby by the end. I've read about a dozen books that pretty much will make up the screenplay, and they all end the same fucking way (natch).

None of those books will prepare you. Anton Corbijn found a way to make it even sadder. Even darker. What's sad is it's all true.

It's still messing with my head today...

I've heard that it's supposed to show at the Inwood on November 2nd.

edit:
According to the Inwood website, it starts running there on November 2nd, not just a limited showing.

If Samantha Morton is half as good as she was in Jesus' Son, I'm going to like it.

count us in, it seems to have a really limited release here. odeon are only showing it in london and manchester while vue only have it in a handful of cinemas.

And here's the dumb part: I saw and enjoyed "24 Hour Party People."

I saw it at the Cineworld in Stevenage, of all places. I think there were 7 people in the theatre...

I might actually wait and go see if next month in London. I'm sure it will still be playing.
