i am a pretty big rilo kiley fan. i specifically think more adventurous and the execution of all things are amazing albums. i love jenny lewis in basically anything she does.

THAT BEING SAID...

under the blacklight is AWFUL. jenny, when did you turn into paula cole, for christ's sake? where did your beautiful melancholy go? what happened to the poetic lyrics? is blake even in the band anymore? what happened to the awesome harmonies? did it take more than fifteen minutes to write ANY of these songs?

It is fucking awful, there are about 3 good songs on it. I can't bare listening to the Miami Sound machine wannabe that is Dejalo.

Biggest disappointment this year.

dejalo is disgusting but in my opinion, smoke detector is the WORST.

"There is a girl in a tank top
She is not wearing a bra
She looks so hott on the dance floor
She does the smoke detector
