America's Got Talent?

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

America's Got Talent?

Postby Irock » Wed Jun 20, 2007 2:38 pm

More like America's Got Too Much Time On It's Hands.
So, mostly they suck, and the show is soooooo God damned slow - two losers, commercial break - two more, commercial break - one loser, Hoff goes into a homophobe tizzy, commercial break...

I've been forced to sit through it for three weeks because a friend of mine is in the top 20. Cas Haley was on last night and the judges loved him. He's the signer for Woodbelly, who I've mentioned occasionally.

I know I should hve posted this yesterday so everyone could watch, guess I'd be a shitty publicist. He'll be on again though. Anywhoo, did anybody watch last night?

p.s. Hell's Kitchen? Aaron's a total faker. He faints whenever there's work to do. Douche nozzle.

Squeezle is pretty hooked on America's Got Talent. We plodded through last night's debacle (Hoff is so homophobic that he has to be gay) and really enjoyed Cas Haley. He's got a damn fine voice.

I love that they noted Woodbelly as a "Dallas Observer Music Award-winning" band, like they got there first. The write-up the Observer did for that award essentially made fun of them. They called Woodbelly "a trio of panda-shaped crackers."

It was pretty funny

David Hasselhoff is fucking awesome, and his SHOCKING DRUNK VIDEO only proves his dramatic range as an actor.

I watched.

He was good AND he seemed like a really nice guy. I was glad they put him through to the next round.

I happened to be flipping channels just at the right time to catch Cass Haley's performance - funny looking guy, great performer.

But they'll have to do a whole lot better to beat out "Britain's Got Talent". Paul Potts! Here's the You Tube link for anyone who's been living under a rock and hasn't heard of this guy. Oh, yeah, and check out the background music during the opening, you might recognize it. *wink, wink*

Cas has talent.

Hoff doesn't have rhythm.

Missed AGT... not that I've been watching it really. But here he is on Youtube.

Listen carefully to the asshat at 1:06. "He gets an E for effort."

For those of you outside of the Dallas/Ft Worth area... you hear all that jibber-jabber? That's at every fucking show in Dallas. I know this is probably a cafe or bar... but even the music venues sound like this.

I freaking hate it.

not only have I never heard of Paul Potts, I didn't realize britian has one of these "shows" too.

I'm not a fan of opera, but I suppose he sounded pretty good. He really could use to work on his facial expressions...he's really only got one...constipated.

Britain always has it first, especially when Simon Cowell is involved.

Canada isn't even a real country...
