Damn I feel old sometimes.

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

Twenty years ago today U2 released Joshua Tree.

Days later I drove my blue chevette all the way to Collin Creek Mall just to pick it up on cassette.

and if you were to tell this to your kids, the first thing they'd do is look at you funny and say, 'daddy, what's a cassette?'

If Pretty Hate Machine were a kid, she'd be old enough to pose for Barely Legal.

High school in 1983? Seriously?!

I'm surprised. I always presumed you were younger than me.

k29?

At Trinity Mills and Josey?

I found that place when I moved here in 1992, but I doubt it was very old.

I think you are the same age as my roommate from college. He had the sweetest collection of terrible records, the Surf Nazis Must Die Soundtrack, MC Shy D, Slick Rick, etc. This all came after his mullet wearing metal head phase from high school. I had known him for at least two years before he admitted any of this.

He sounds unfortunate. Thankfully I never owned any crap music or worked a mullet.
