This came from his Myspace site. Thought you might get a chuckle.....
I'LL BE IN DALLAS FOR 3 WEEKISHES
Hey, I'll be in Dallas for 3 weeks or so without a car. I need to make new friends in Dallas who have cars. Please let me know if you want to hang out with me. I'm funny and not all that dangerous.

This is bullshit. When I try to watch a youtube post now the 'share with a friend' screen shows up as if I already watched it. My sulleness won't make me anymore productive, I swear it.

Hey - wait..
Why, I have a car. Maybe I can drive him around town to the lawns he wants to take a shit on. Or to some shit-hole retaurant in a mall, next to a church, covered in concrete.
Oh, but darn! I have that strict "no ass-hat" policy.
Gee, doesn't he have like, 20 band mates in town? Or do they have "no ass-hat" policies where they live, too? Damn that Laura Miller.
Hey look, I'm "funny and not dangerous" too! Maybe now I can be an asshole to everyone and then tell them they're fucking stupid if they take offense.

Don't you dare. . .
This explains why he requested to be my MySpace friend last week -- he was probably looking for Dallas fans of the band and added me.
I wrote back something like:
"On not being friends --
You said the last Spree holiday show was good for such little practice.
I said maybe you should have practiced more.
You said you'd shit on my yard and insulted Dallas music fans.
At least that's how I remember it.
I don't think we're going to be friends."

I thought it was odd that he has attempted to be my friend a couple of times, one just recently.
But it makes sense now.

yeah, odd he's reaching out to people he doesn't even know...he should just drive up from his state so he has a car (assuming he has a car).

Right. Just seems if they liked him well enough they could help him out anyway. Like some people I know (and there were a lot fewer of them) did for this British kid they'd never even met, for instance.
Or maybe they're just too stupid to appreciate his razor sharp wit too.

well, looking at the current lineup, most of the nice people have left. It's not as close knit as is percieved...
