micah p. hinson is this awesome musician from abilene. he's made music with the earlies and has two excellent solo albums. but part of his story is that he fell in love with a drug-loving Vogue model who eventually led him down a path of drug addiction that wound him in jail. she's been referred to as the black widow.

found out that the black widow is melissa berggren. his first record is inspired by her and the lifestyle they had. it's...haunting and harrowing.

well, there was the 'whatever happened to her' question...but i don't think that micah had ever named her until recently....i dunno, it was news to me...

I never found out what had been said in that red and brown place. I thought the thread was deleted, but if not then I wasn't smart enough to find it.

Oh, and even though I have no feelings about her one way or the other, I think him continuing to discuss her is tacky.

it seems as if this was brought out in an observer article and that's what was discussed.
