the second generation Cocteau Twins

this is a fascinatingly obscure thing, but for those who are Cocteau Twins fans (and i know a few of you here are) then this is definitely something of interest.

as you know, Robin Guthrie has been more of a producer and a labelhead than he has been a regular producing artist. recently, he produced an excellent band from New York by the name of Mahogany. Their new record, entitled Connectivity, will be released next month. With this edition of the record, there is a second disc, containing three remixes and three videos. One of the songs is entitled "my bed is my castle," and on this song it contains not only Robin Guthrie on guitar, but also his daughter with Lucy Belle, his daughter Elizabeth Frasier, on vocals. It's haunting, but it sounds just like those first Cocteau records, especially Garlands.
