Lollapalooza this coming weekend.

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

For those of you that can't make it (myself included), my employer will be streaming it starting 12:30pm CDT this Friday. I don't know what is going to be streamed since there are 8 stages but here is the link.

I just went, looked at the schedule, and nearly threw up because I'm not there. The good thing is that the FLips are on at 6:30 and I'll be home from work. And the Smoking Popes (who I thought were defunct and I was the only person who'd ever heard of them to begin with) are before that.

Alvin Ailey Workshop, too! JEALOUSGRRRJEALOUSGRR.

6:30 - The Raconteurs
Probably my favorite set of the weekend.

And I am 99% sure that they were using one of Mark Pirro's Copperphone microphones.

Consider the Fauxrum notified.
I was actually kind of bummed I missed that set but I was at least able to see some of the Secret Machines set.

I remember hearing that Jack White uses the Copperphone back when the DFW incident came out.
