Did you think about 9/11 at all during the movie? I did not, surprisingly.

Manohla Dargis from the New York Times did and even went so far as to call it a tacky allusion. "[The images] may make you think of the attack," Dargis said, "and you may curse the filmmakers for their vulgarity, insensitivity or lack of imagination."

i thought about it, but really just until the scene on the bridge. after that, it was obvs not a terrorist attack, so it flew my mind. of course, i knew it wasn't a terrorist attack from the beginning cause everyone was all "OMK MONSTER MOVIE" but whatevs.

last night on A Daily Show they used their 9 fucking 11 animation for the last time because Rudy dropped out. And it went on for a long time, I was almost feeling this thing called awkward.
