I've been to just over 50 gigs so far this year (I've got about 5 gigs left this year). I've had to cut myself off from shows for the remainder of 2007 unless they're free.
I spend way to much money on concerts.
Next year I am really going to put a limit on my purchased tix and festivals. free gigs are great, but if I have to pay I will not spend more than $500 for the entire year. Yikes that's only just over $40 as month. I don't think I can do that. I mean I might be able to ....but it will be HARD!

I was thinking about this last night, and I have to say that this (plus Tejano Brothers) was probably goin down as the most fun I had at a show all year. It was greatness.boys named sue

Favourite 10 gigs of 2007 in no particular order:
Kaiser Chiefs / Gruff Rhys / The Cribs at the Royal Albert Hall
Suburban Kids with Biblical Names at a little club in Soho
Silent League at the Joiners Arms
The Clarksons at the Boathouse
Josh P at the Wedge
Bad Brains at the Astoria
Super Furry Animals / Adam Hussain (GLC) at the Guildhall
Klaxons at Portsmouth Pyramids
Midlake / Robert Gomez in Oxford
Gallows at the Wedge (Amy in the circle pit was cool
)
anything before October seems like last year mind. Maybe we need a top albums of the month / gigs of the month just as a refresher liks.
