i took a typing test today. i really sucked. i only typed 95 wpm with a 99.85% accuracy. normally, i can clear 100 wpm with 99.9% accuracy.

I must confess that my secretarial skills are not that strong, but I can certainly dictate faster than you can type.i took a typing test today. i really sucked. i only typed 95 wpm with a 99.85% accuracy. normally, i can clear 100 wpm with 99.9% accuracy.

How much you bench? I suck because I could only bench 485. I thought I could get 500 up for sure.

heh, i guess i should back up and say why i'm disappointed in myself. when i was working for a relay company for the deaf, i would have to transcribe conversations instantly, continually, nonstop. try doing that for five years. you get *really* good at it, esp. if excellence at the job means more money on the paycheck. when i left, i was typing, on average, 105-110 wpm, with 94% accuracy.
ps. don't work for deaf people typing their conversations on the telephone. it's hell. utter hell. and you think they're grateful with your skills? no. they're not. they want to know why you're not *better* than that.
