Mouse watch

After a whole 3 hours sleep, my cat alerted me to the fact there is a mouse in my house.
Those of you that know me, will know this is not 'unusual', as they like to climb in my kitchen window!
Both my cat and I are on mouse watch, only I'm really hoping I get to it before she does!
Said mouse is currently sitting behind my chest of drawers (I'm thinking this may be an 'English term', reading it!)/dresser (I think that covers it). I've put down some sunflower seeds for it, and want to give it some time to calm down before continuing the persuit - don't want shock the creature to death!
Another night in the life of Hannah Land!

Neither of us have caught it yet
I've no clue where its gone(my cat is not one for eating mice), it may have wandered out the front door for all I know.

The cat might have scared it and it decided to head somewhere safer.

I never gave cats much respect until I read that new item about that cat chasing a black bear up two trees.

That's straight up bad ass.

the picture is a thing of sheer beauty. Especially since the tree is so tall compared to the cat, and the bear is as far up as he can go

I don't know. Some cats command respect simply with their stares.
