This would be more than enough to make me swear off alcohol for a lifetime...

It reminds me of the horror novel The Other by Thomas Tryon.
Spoooooooooooooky book (good movie too). Check it out if you like that sort of thing.

Let's just say: baby+wine cask= not good.

So the wife had him shipped back in a barrel because she was cheap and then didn't bother to bury him? That doesn't make sense.

Than again, maybe pickling should replace cremation and your family can have a sip of your special flavor on your birthday in rememberance?

If you're going to discover a pickled corpse, I would think the best time to do so was after mentally preparing yourself with an entire barrel of rum.

or perhaps if you're drinking an entire barrel of rum, you're trying to be the flavouring for the next barrel.

If so, I've got to give much respect to those Hungarians.

Being a non-tequila drinker, I know it is not the worm that makes you see things. The worm just creeps you out unless you wash it down quick!

I might have looked to Snopes if this had arrived in e-mail form rather than an international news agency's website. I guess everyone falls for it once in a while.

I do like the story about Nelson, though.
