If the Lakers beat the Suns, and the Clippers beat the Nuggets, then the Lakers and the Clippers are going to play each other in the second round. That means seven straight games at the Staples Center.... crazy!

p.s. spurs rule, mavs drool.

Daniel and I were just talking about that last night. The burning question for me was how much Jack Nicholson's going to have to pay to get those seats for the Clippers "home" games. Can you imagine what he might offer to whatever corporate executive has those season tickets?

That would be one of the best matchups in playoff history, at least on paper. Both teams play great team ball (well, the Lakers do now, they've recently learned this), both have an elite go-to guy, and both have intangibles. The fact that they're in the same city and in the same arena, that's just delicious.

I just wonder who the Mavs are going to play...

I'm feeling pretty good about things right about now.

We have two more home games, so I'm not really worried.

Mavs Fan For Life.

Which would apply to me unless they sign Doug Christie again.

I think Christie is out of the league. He might try to make a come-back as a brokedown old guy. That could be entertaining if you don't like him.

I would love to see the Mavs take the Lakers apart in the Western Conf Finals with Kobe taking 2,000 shots in 6 games and them still losing.

I'm pretty sure he retired. Still, I'm not sure I wish him on anyone in the league. Well, perhaps the Knicks can overpay him and I won't care.

If the Lakers beat the Suns, I'm not certain they'll beat the Clippers. As weird as that sounds, they're well-balanced and deep.

Took you long enough. It's cool though, gave some of the banged up guys much needed rest.

Ah, yes the REAL Western Conference finals begins tomorrow!

My son has tickets to one of the games, 5 or 6 I can't remember which, so let's make it at least that long of a series this time. He had tickets to game 5 of the Mavs-Grizzlies series, and the Mavericks had a 4 game sweep for the first time in team history! I hope he gets to go this time - the Spurs are his favorite team, and the Mavs are his favorite hometown team, so I guess it's a win-win.

I feel the blood boiling ;).

I hate the spurs (in a respectful way).

I really don't think they have a chance against us this year.

I've loved Avery Johnson since I was a little kid, so I have lots of love for the Mavericks.

I just remembered that tickets for tomorrow's game went on sale an hour ago, but of course the cheap ones are sold out already.
