No, this IS Dave, man.

It's also my mom's birthday.

11 years since OKC and 7 since Columbine.

Man, I remember with Columbine I turned on the tv and it was the freaky fucked-upped "oh, shit, this is happening RIGHT NOW." I don't remember anything affecting me like that at that time or before( it was the urgency & terror). All those kids runnning with their hands above their heads for cover. It was insane.The immediacy was terrible. It was one of the first national tragedies that played out in such a large scope on television that you witnessed as it unfold.

It broke me up.
